- I was a competitive gymnast as a kid(age 6-13), then I started to get into mountain biking when I was in 7th grade. I did this casually off and on until 2007(age 22). At this point, I entered my first race, an XC mountain bike race, and although I was at the back of the pack, I was hooked on endurance sports. I started to look into triathlons, at which point I fell in love with running.
I have ran one certified marathon, and dozens of training runs of 26 miles or longer. I also ran a 50k race, and will regularly run that distance in my training. Right now I am training for a 50 miler, 40 miles being the longest I have run at a clip, and wish to progress as far as my spirit will take me.
