Raw Foods Diet: Day 17
My sleeping pattern is now officially weird. I have no idea why I would need this much sleep. It’s ridiculous!
Mind
Remembered three different dreams! This might have been due to the fact that I kept waking up and falling back asleep.
Body
Food Eaten
Now I am even running low on frozen bananas! I went to Whole Foods to stock up and all the bananas there were green. Not kind of green, or semi-green, The Hulk green. I asked someone who worked in produce there, and he told me that if I put them in a paper bag with an apple or two, OR if I put them out in the sun, they should ripen in a few hours. Unfortunately, that is ridiculous. I bought them anyway, and while a bunch are sitting in a brown paper grocery bag with two apples, I realize it will be awhile before they ripen.
Meal 1
1 orange
Meal 2
A smoothie consisting of: 1 celery stalk, 1 handful of lettuce, 1 handful of baby spinach, 1 orange, 20 blueberries, and 2 frozen bananas.
Meal 3
1 Avocado
Meal 4
A smoothie consisting of: 4 strawberries, 1 handful of lettuce, 20 blueberries, 3 blackberries, 1 orange, and 2 frozen bananas
Meal 5
1 avocado and 1 apple
Meal 6
A smoothie consisting of: 4 strawberries, 1 handful of baby arugula, 4 blackberries, 2 frozen bananas, 1 orange
Overall
I had a lot more energy today, especially around 5:00 P.M. This is a little unusual as around this time I am normally dead tired! I actually went running, on the treadmill, and had quite the exhausting workout.

Blake, you are dangerously close to breaking my winning streak. Stop it!! lol
Chris, keep getting that sleep, your body is probably making up for all the sleep you missed before. All those crazy nights you stayed up all night!
I think that guy was mistaken, I’ve left bananas to ripen like that, but it takes days, not hours. I have a this fantastic fruit ripener I use that really does only take hours, or maybe a day, depending on what you’re doing. Avocados seem to take forever.
