Anne,

Thanks for commenting!

I have not tried making mock salmon or mock chicken? Do these require a dehydrator? Also, are they low in fat? If not, it is something I definitely wished I had tried. Maybe I still have time for it? Could you get me the recipe perhaps?

I agree with your sentiment about cravings, for the most part. The only time I crave foods now is when I am hungry. I can usually solve that with some food, if I have any.

I have had the EXACT same experience as you!! Carbohydrate-rich food used to be my main vice, but now, it is the meaty foods that I have been craving. I knew I had a problem when I was envious of my cat's food.

If I can make it through this trial, I am absolutely positive that you can too. If you need any encouragement, you can also Contact Me, using the Contact page on the sidebar, or via my email at admin@growstronger.com.

One fantastic benefit of doing this trial, at least for me, is that you will have an extreme sense of control over your eating habits, regardless of whether or not you decide to stick with eating raw foods. Just remind yourself that if you can get through that much time eating raw foods, than you can do anything!

Have you ever tried making mock salmon? Or even recipes like mock chicken? It takees a bit of preparation but I find that that helps me to conquer some of my meat cravings. Ever since I've started this Raw diet my craving and temptations have steered away from pies and cakes and donuts to really meaty foods, more specifically fishes like salmon and tuna. Which is good I guess??....considering I hardly have any more cravings for those refined and heavily processed foods anymore. I am guessing the fruits have something to do with satisfying my sweet tooth.

I have been following your raw diet and am also going through a 30 day trial myself and whats so weird is that my cravings have changed dramatically..but in a very good way considering how I used to crave for really bad foods.

Good luck with the diet! I will continue to follow your journeey as it is really helping me through mine!
